Cervavac protects against 2 high-risk strains and 2 low-risk strains, ₦50,000

What are the common side effects of the HPV vaccine?
Most side effects are mild and resolve within 24 to 72 hours. Common reactions include mild pain or redness at the injection site, a low-grade fever, or headache. These can be easily managed with over-the-counter pain relief such as paracetamol.
How many doses of the HPV vaccine do I need?
Based on the World Health Organization (WHO) guidelines:
A: Common side effects are injection site pain and redness, mild fever, and headache. They go on their own within 24 to 72 hours but can be managed with paracetamol.
Ages 9 to 20 years: A 1-dose or 2-dose schedule is recommended.
Ages 21 to 45 years: A 2-dose schedule (with a 6-month interval) is recommended for optimal immune response.
Can I get the HPV vaccine if I am pregnant?
No. HPV vaccination is not recommended during pregnancy. If you become pregnant after starting the series, your remaining doses should be delayed until after delivery.
